I am a licensed acupuncturist in New York City. I have a passion for helping people and I am blessed to be able to do so through the ancient healing techniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
I graduated from Pacific College of Health and Science with a Masters of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine. During my time there, I was fortunate to serve a variety of patient populations including veterans suffering with pain and PTSD, as well as active and recovering drug users and victims of trauma through clinical internships at the Veteran Affairs Hospital and New York Harm Reduction Educators, an overdose prevention center in Harlem.
I am a member of the International Traditional Chinese Medicine Dermatology Association founded by master herbalist and world-renowned clinician in the field of dermatology and Chinese Medicine, Mazin Al-Khafaji.
I have studied many styles of acupuncture ranging from neurofunctional acupuncture, trigger point/dry needling, and gentler Japanese styles of acupuncture. This helps me incorporate a variety of approaches to treatment, adapting to the needs of my patients.
I often incorporate a variety of other modalities into my treatments as well, including cupping therapy, gua sha, moxibustion, electroacupuncture, and Tui Na—a type of medical massage.
